Graphical Environment of Excel
Microsoft Excel Environment: this application is used to collect and organize the data in rows and columns that contain the spreadsheets, the way in which they shown we will call tables.
I. Different ways to start a session in Microsoft Excel 2010
Procedure 1 to start a session in Excel:
1. Click on the start button
2. Select All Programs
3. SelectMicrosoft Office
4. Click on Microsoft Excel 2010
Or
1. Double click on the shortcut that is found on the desktop.

II. Main parts of Excel 2010 screen and its graphical environment of operation
* File Menu: It shows from the Backstage view the basic commands as New, open, Save, Save as, Print and Close, among others.
* Quick Access Toolbar: It is the area where you canpersonalize the most used command buttons in Excel. You can add or remove command buttons, clicking on the arrow to the right side and selecting in the dialog box the buttons that you want to add or remove, etc.
* Formula Bar: It is where the content of the cell can be observed; text, numbers and formulas.
* Spreadsheet: It is divided in cells, composed by columns (16,384), labeled withletter, and rows (1,048,576) labeled by numbers. The name that each cell of the spreadsheet receives is called Cell Reference, which is formed by the letter of the column and the number of the row. This reference is used to refer to the content of the cells in the functions and formulas.
* Ribbon: It contains the different tabs that have groups, and they have command buttons used in Excel, it isdivided in: Start, Insert, Layout, Formulas, Data, Review and View.
* Name Box: It is where the Cell Reference is observed (where the cursor is located). It is also used to assign a name to a range or to change the name to a cell.
* Active Cell: It is the cell that is selected in the spreadsheet, it is visualized by a bold box that forms it and also its Filling Control.
* Label Sheets:They are used to identify the sheets, besides to give or to change their name.
* Navigation Buttons: They are buttons used to move to different sheets that the book contains when the space to visualize them is not enough to observe them.
* Status Bar: In this bare we can observe the operations performed in the spreadsheet, besides the different View Buttons and the Zoom Button.

III.Procedure to create a new workbook:
1) Open the File Menu, option New.
2) In the section Available Templates, select Blank Book
3) Click on the button Create

IV. Procedure to save a workbook:
1) Go to the File Menu, select: Save as…
2) Choose the folder where you want to store the file.
3) Type the name of the file
4) Choose the type of the file, the version ofExcel in which you want to save the file, in order to open it in other versions of Excel or if you want to store it as PDF file (only reading), etc.
5) Click on Save

V. Procedure to open an existing workbook.
1) Go to File Menu
2) Click on Open
3) Search for the directory or place/folder where the file was last saved.
4) Select the file from the Name Box (or by directlyclicking it)
5) Click on the Open button.
Or: (Procedure to open a recent file)
1) Click on File Menu, select Recent
2) Click on the file you want to open

VI. Display in the screen many opened workbooks:
1) Click on the View tab
2) Select from the group Window the button Switch Windows
3) Select with a click the file you want to display.

VII. Procedure to inserta spreadsheet:
1) Click on the Home Tab
2) Select from the group Cells the button Insert
3) Choose the last option: Insert Sheet

VIII. Procedure to eliminate a spreadsheet:
1. Click on the Home Tab
2. Select the button Delete from the group Cells
3. Choose the last option Delete Sheet.

IX. Procedure to change the name to a spreadsheet:
1. Click on the Home...
