Hamlet FINAL EXAM soliloquy #2It is night time and Hamlet is in front of Elsinore castle. The ghost enters and confronts him. He tells hamlet his crimes have been purged. Hamlet listens to the horrible state the ghost describeshimself in. The ghost revels that he is his father’s spirit who has can not cross over until revenge is delivered to Claudius. The spirit tells hamlet to seek revenge against his killer for his dirtydeed but to leave his mother alone “to Heaven”. His warnings do little to stop hamlets revenge against his mother. The ghost gives hamlet poison and the poison is revenge. He now sets off to seekrevenge to avenge his father’s death.
