Hitler and the Nazi party were able to keep power in Germany (1933-1939) due to a variety of reasons.
-Explain what these reasons were and how they helped Hitler and the Nazi party keep power.
-Inyour own opinion was any one reason more significant than others? Explain your answer.

The reasons that made Hitler and the Nazi party keep power in Germany from 1933 to 1939 were thefollowing.
The first reason that helped Hitler and the Nazi party to keep power in Germany was that many politicians underestimated Hitler’s strength and misread his intentions. They underestimated Hitlerbecause he only had 43.9 % of the votes in the Reichstag elections and because there were only two more Nazis in Hitler's cabinet. In the other hand, one of the Nazis from its cabinet was the ministerof the interior for Prussia and he was in control of the police in Germany.
Another reason that made Hitler to keep power in Germany was that he used up every opportunity to consolidate his power.One example of this factor was that when he called elections in 1933, during the weeks leading to the elections, he took action to destroy left-wing parties, banned newspapers and public meetings thatcriticised Hitler's government. Another example is that when the Reichstag building went up in flames on 27 February and a Young Dutch Communist called Van der Lubbe was caught in the scene withfirelighters the Nazis used the incident as a propaganda campaign against a Communist uprising. With propaganda they tried to justify the violent act of the Nazi party against against political opponents.With that propaganda most Germans get afraid of a Communist uprising and accepted Hitler's violent actions.
The third reason that made Hitler consolidate power was that he used violence againstCommunist, Socialist, Jews, political opponents, Catholic priests and Journalist. In those times, everyone that was not an Aryan German and did not support the Nazi regime had a really difficult life....
