Introduction: Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for himself. This is the thought of one of the noblest men of history, Abraham Lincoln, which for me was one of the most importantpresidents in United States history.
Thesis: This thought was accompanied by actions, which were realized in the time of his presidency in the United States. Well, I’m here to tell you about AbrahamLincoln's life and his importance as president of the United States.
Main point #1: Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Hodgenville, United States.
Lincoln was the sixteenth President ofthe United States and the first for the Republican Party. As a strong opponent of the expansion of slavery in the United States, Lincoln won the Republican nomination in 1860 and was elected presidentlater that year.
During his period, he helped preserve the United States by the defeat of the secessionist Confederate States of America in the American Civil War. Introduced measures that resultedin the abolition of slavery. Lincoln successfully mobilized public opinion through their speeches; the Gettysburg Address is but one example. After the war, Lincoln established the reconstruction,quickly trying to raise the country through a policy of generous reconciliation. Lincoln was murdered in 1865.
Main point #2: Abraham Lincoln has several accomplishments in his name. One of his greatestachievements was the implementation of the Emancipation Proclamation, ending the injustice that was committed by black people just because of their race were cruelly treated and discriminatedagainst. This was something really cruel practice that treats men, women and elderly black like animals, this was one of his greatest achievements and one of whom the most is remembered with affection andesteem.
