PAP llevó a huck a una pequeña cabaña junto al río mississippi. planeó mantenerlo ahíporque quería encontrar una manera de conseguir fortuna de huck del juez. Nadie vivíacerca de la cabaña. una semana mástarde, la ventana descubrió donde estaba huck ymandó a un hombre para traerlo de vuelta. Pero Pap tenía una pistola. lo señaló en elhombre y él huyó y nunca regresó. Así que huck y pap se quedaron solos.
