CLIMATE AND VEGETATION
Its principal range countries are Russia, the UnitedStates (mostly in Alaska), Canada, the Carpathian region (especially Romania, but also Ukraine, Slovakia, and so on), the Balkans, Sweden and Finland, where it is the national animal. The brown bear isthe most widely distributed of all bears. The vegetation and climate in North America are very different: has most of the world's climates. In the arctic tundra north are (Greenland, Yukon), through avariety of forests (Rocky Mountains, Appalachia and the three Sierra Madre).
SUMMER AND WINTER
The brown bear is primarily nocturnal. In the summer, it gains up to 180 kilograms of fat, on which itrelies to make it through winter, when it becomes very lethargic. MATING
