What does she do for a living?

OBJECTIVE: To identify different and important occupations in society and to express what others do attheir workplace as well.

ACTIVITIES

1. Watch the two videos (English Vocabulary and Present Simple). It is important to watch them at least 3 times so you analyzethe information and then solve the other activities.

2. Make a list of the most important occupations in society for you (mention at least 20).

Pilot, soldier, butcher, teacher, policeman, baker,mechanic, lawyer, doctor, waitress, carpenter, detective, artist, astronaut, cobbler, judge, nun, painter, receptionist, secretary, physiotherapist.

3. Choose 5 differentoccupations and describe what SHE or HE does for a living using present simple (write minimum 5 sentences, including 1 negative). For example:

He is a policeman

Heworks in a station.
He has a gun.
He cares a society.
He wears a green uniform.
He sometimes works at night.

He doesn´t touch guitars.
