TurboSwift v9 installation Guide

This document outlines the steps required to upgrade to TurboSwift v9, please ensure that you understand the pre-requisites in advance.

1. TurboSwift v9.1.0
2. TurboConnect v9.1.0

The TurboSwift build can be downloaded from :-
ftp://tsftp.bankserv.com

Browse to /pub/ts_910/patches for TS patches and download

UPGRADE TURBOSWIFT (SERVER) Instructions

Pre-requisites to complete in advance of the upgrade.

|1 |Confirm that your copy of the TS license matches up to your TurboSwift License Parameters. If not please contact BankServ support to obtain the correctcopy of your license. |
|2 |Confirm that your userid to log into TS works. |
|3 |Check for any pending CFG changes in TS and either activate or cancel them.|

Instructions on how to upgrade your TurboSwift server instance from v9.0 to v9.1.0

|1 |Check for any pending configuration changes and either activate or cancel them. |
|2 |Stop TurboSwift background services.|
|3 |Stop tx_xts service. |




|4 |Ensure that no TS processes are running, for example, make surethat troubles, coldstart, TS GUI are closed. |
|5 |Backup the database using your Database Platform System Tools. |
|6 |Zip up the $ts\run folder and move to a safe location.|
|7 |Delete all files from $ts\run\saverun folder. |
|8 |Copy the TS upgrade build from /pub/ts_900/ to $ts\run folder.|
|9 |Windows: Open a command Window, please ensure that the CMD window command history is increased. Here is how :- |
| |Click the upper-left corner of the Command Prompt window, and then clickProperties. |
| |Click the Options tab. |
| |In Command History, type or select 999 in Buffer Size, and then type or select 999 inNumber of Buffers. |
| |In the Apply Properties dialog box, click Apply properties to current window only. |
