A world increasingly demanding comprehensive and multifunctional leaders who can be able to understand the global changesand to develop a specific activity effectively is becoming high demand for international companies. Academics have developed a discussion about competition and competitive an integral leader. Thearticle the Global leadership competencies: a review and discussion developed by a Philippine university study the skills based on extensive documentation generated around the world about leadershiptrying to get a conclusion of what the requirements are in a world increasingly globalized but diverse. Seeking to understand how international companies can have global impact but developed in localenvironments and various individual can effectively run businesses become the big challenge. As indeed what the authors refer, managers and leaders are different people . It is important, in my opinion, absolutely necessary that differentiation of personality characteristics, but notonly that, the differentiation is perhaps the most important aspect of the roles and responsibilities of each. This does not imply in any way as a leader and a manager does not need the qualities of theother. Under conditions in which we currently find ourselves, it is essential to possess the qualities of a good leader combined with an effective manager, so that you can take both roles, putting onpaper or the other according to the needs of the moment.
