Introduction.
This essay is going to summarize the costarrican folklore. That is a tradition full of art and history, that allow us know roots and our ancestors. Thefolklore should be considered an important element in the national identity, allowing identify different people , different culture, how people talk that is critical, the “Retajilas”, the instruments theyuse to make music for typical dances, “Bombas”. The most popular place for folklore is Guanacaste, as it has its own culture and its history. We can find folklore in other provinces of Costa Rica, butthe most important is in the province of Guanacaste. Because people who practice it, has the culture inside of them. The lyrics of each song or “Bomba” has its meaning in a rhyme.

El folklore debe considerarse como un elemento de gran importancia dentro de la identidad nacional, ya que permite identificarse adiferentes pueblos, diferente cultura, del modo del habla que es sumamente importante, las retahílas, los instrumentos que utilizan para poder realizar la música para los bailes, bombas típicas. El lugarmás popular para el folklore es Guanacaste, ya que tiene su propia cultura, por toda su historia que tiene, pero también en otras provincias de Costa Rica se puede encontrar pero la más importante es enla provincia de Guanacaste las personas que lo practican lo llevan muy adentro de ellos, lo sienten con el corazón, la mayoría de la población lo practica. Las letras de cada canción tienen susignificado también en forma de rima. Mostrar el conocimiento sobre esta cultura que identifica el arte que se desarrolla en Costa Rica.
