What is a text? The text is the top unit communication and organizational competence of the speaker. Its size is variable and corresponds to a comprehensible whole that has a communicativepurpose in a given context. The communicative, pragmatic and allows structural identification. However, the description of a text, consider factors related to the discourse competence, status and rulesspecific to the textual level.
Types of texts (narrative, informative, descriptive, technological, and scientific manual)
Narratives: The narrative is a text type which have made real orimaginary In undertaking the analysis of narrative texts is necessary to study the history and actions that make (argument), the characters that take place, time and space where they develop, how theseelements are arranged (structure) and from what point of view counted.
Informational Text: An informative text is a text type through which the issuer provides information to the receiver anyfact, situation or circumstance.
When we talk about writing informational text, we refer only to that text was written by an issuer whose primary intention is, as we "make known" something, withoutinvolving primarily their emotions and desires
Descriptive Text: The descriptive text is the verbal representation of an object, person, landscape, animal, emotion, and virtually everything can beput into words.
This type of text intends the reader to get an accurate picture of reality that we are conveying in words, a sort of "verbal painting."
Scientific Text: is a compilation ofinformation and papers on various topics related to chemistry, physics, computer science, ecology and other areas of science. These texts can be used as reference material for the creation of work orresearch for educational purposes and not for profit.
Technological Text: The text describes technological applications and practical applications of these principles and laws.
