COMPUTER INDUSTRY
3D Animation / Graphic design  A position where you design and create either a graphic or 3D animations for software programs, games, movies, web pages, etc. Position may also require that you work on existing graphics, animations, movies, etc. done by other people.
Customer service  Helping customers with general questions relating to the company, ordering, status on orders,account information or status, etc.
Data Entry  A job that commonly requires the employee to take information from a hard copy or other source and enter it into an electronic format. Position may also be taking electronic data and entering it into a database for easy sorting and locating.
Database  A job that requires creating, testing, and maintaining one or more database.
Engineer  Anengineer is someone who is at the top of their class and almost always someone who has or is working on a college degree or several certifications. Although used broadly in this document, the engineer is usually specified in the job requirement. For example, a software development engineer may be a highly skilled computer programmer.
Hardware  A position as a hardware designer, circuit design, embeddedsystems, firmware, etc. is a job that requires you to design and create a complete hardware package or portions of a hardware device.
Networking  Computer networking jobs involve designing, setting up, and maintaining anetwork.
Programmer / Software developer  A job that requires the development or continued development and maintenance of a software program.
Quality Assurance (QA) / Systemanalyst / Tester  This job requires that the employee test out all features of a product for any problems or usability issues.
Sales  Selling a product or service to another person or company.
Technical Support (Technician / Help Desk)  Helping an end-user or company employee with their computers, software program, and hardware device. A technical support position is a great first step for peopleinterested in working in the computer industry.
Technical Writing This position often involves creating or editing technical papers or manuals.
Security expert  Test and find vulnerabilities in a system, hardware device, or software program.
WebMaster / Web Designer  A job where a person creates, maintains, or completely designs a web page.

FILM INDUSTRY
Most people seem to think there areconcerned in the making of motion pictures just four classes of people actors, scenario writers, directors and cameramen. It all seems very simple. The scenario writer sits down in the morning and works out a scene; he wakes up the director, who packs some actors and a cameraman in an automobile, together with a picnic lunch, and goes out to make the picture on some lovely hillside. Then, havingfinished the photoplay, they take it around to your local theater and exhibit it at twenty-five cents a seat. 
As a matter of fact, the movies, now the fifth national industry in the United States, has as many phases, and as many complexities as any other industry in the world. 
Broadly speaking, the movies are made up of alliances between producing companies and distributing companies. Forexample, the Constance Talmadge Corporation produces the photoplays in which Miss Talmadge is starred, and this Company is allied with the First National Exhibitors Circuit which takes the completed film and sells it to theater managers in every part of the world. The Constance Talmadge Corporation's duty is to make a photoplay and deliver it to the First National Exhibitors Circuit; the lattercompany duplicates the film in hundreds of "prints," advertises it, rents it to exhibitors, and sees to the delivery of the film. In the same way, Nazimova makes comedies and releases them through the Metro Corporation, her distributor.
