JOINT VENTURE
Este término es usado porprimera vez el 23 de marzo de 1988.
I. DIFINICION:
Se define como el acuerdo entre dos o más partes que ponen en común sus recursos y colaboración para llevar a cabo una actividad comercial a través de la cual pueden obtener un beneficio mutuo, compartiendo el riesgo que conlleva toda operación empresarial en función de la estructura concreta a través de la cual acuerden desarrollarla.
Estosrecursos pueden ser materia prima, capital, tecnología, conocimiento del mercado, ventas y canales de distribución, personal, financiamiento o productos.
En términos Joint significa común o conjunto, mientras que Venture una aventura, un proyecto, una empresa; ello implica que hay esfuerzos y riesgos por delante, pero también la posibilidad de un resultado positivo, una utilidad, un beneficio. En losúltimos años ha habido una tendencia por ampliar el concepto y por lo tanto el Joint Venture se da como un reflejo de un número creciente de acuerdos de cooperación empresarial que no involucran la participación del capital en forma accionaria.
