Israel vs. Gaza

During the winter of 2008 and 2009, there was a war between Israel and Gaza, called the “Operation Cast Lead” that killed 1,400 Palestinians. Now,four years later the war begins again.

Every day, every single day, is a terrible day for the Israel and Gaza citizens. Both sides are interchanging rockets andthere are killing hundreds of people, including young children and women. Ariel Kanievsky, is one of the testimonials that lives very near to the strip of Gaza. Heexplains us: “they advise you that in 45 seconds a rocket is going to fall in the zone, if you don’t move, you’re dead”. Israel is keeping attacking the coast betweenair and sea, and there is a complete chaos. The fist minister of Turquia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, claims a ceasefire in the Gaza strip, claiming that they are in 2012,not in 2008, and the things are different. In spite of there are some truces for political reasons, but the war is not stopping. In Gaza are living in a terriblesituation, peoples houses, hospitals, schools and other buildings are being destroyed. The hospitals quality is getting low, because they don’t have enough money to payfor good quality medicines. Plus, since people leave their house very quickly and since the war has been started a long time ago, people are starting to get hungry.Organizations and small groups of people have to drive to shelters to feed the citizens that they had to leave to get in “safety” areas. Living in the city is extremelydangerous. In certain areas they are snipers in the houses roofs. Every day a familiars and friends are dying, and many people are waiting the end of this war.
