JOURNAL AND REFLECTION:
That day was full of anxiety since it is really difficult to assimilate that I am now in action with respect to my career, and that I am now teaching in Highschool level, which is really a harsh thing to do. However, all of that anxiety turned into strength as soon as I made a step into the classroom since, as a personal teaching, I learned that the first interaction made by a teacher in a classroom of more than 20 students is basic to establish the potential future interaction. This was my teaching because I approachedthe students with no fear but much confidence, and that feeling was so spread out that the will for participation of the activity was very satisfactory. It is important for me to say that as a teacher I consider fundamental to try to learn the students´ names as soon as possible as a sign of respect and maturity. It does not matter whether we are dealing with adolescents or adults, the teachermust compose a model, and the essence of his actions must try to function as a human builder by beginning to show “humanity” (or his\her ideas of humanity) in the classroom.
