INTRODUCCION

General Informational
Mary Shelley was born in London on August 30 1879; she was the daughter of William Godwin and Mary Wollstonecraft, her father hadalready a daughter named Fanny Imlay , that committed suicide.

She was married with Percy Bysshe Shelley, before they get married Percy was married with Harriet, Mary was his lover, they weretraveling for 5 years and they lived in 3 countries, Switzerland, Italy and Germany.

When Harriet drowned herself, Percy and Mary gain the custody of their child’s. Mary and Percy had for children but 3of them died before death. Only 1 of them survived. But their relationship last only 8 years until Percy died.

The idea of writing “Frankenstein” came when she was in a lake with the romantic poetLord Byron when they challenged to write a terror story.

Frankenstein was a complete success immediately in 1818.

1° Evidence
Firstly, Mary Shelley inspired in a lot of things. They were, theFrench Revolution the bigotry and the abuse of power, also two poems.

One of the poems was of Thomas Campbell “The Last Man” and the other one was of Lord Byron “Darkness”.About the FrenchRevolution she wrote about the end where it can fall a man that is carried away by fanaticism and abuse of power.

For example she use both poems as an idea for writing “The Last Man”. This book wasn’t asuccess inmediatly as the book “Frankeistein”.

This author named Jorge Gomez Jimenez says that Mary Shelley always ignore the prophetic scope of what she had written.

2º Evidencie
Secondly, MaryShelley had a lot of sources which she inspired of. They were, Geek Methodology, books, poems, novels, and a nightmare that she had.
