Sleeping Beauty
ACT I
Characters: Narrator, King, Queen
Scenario: Decorated inside the palace.
Background music sounds prior to the lifting of the curtain. The curtain rises on the scene and the King and Queen. The Narrator is in a remote but visible.

NARRATOR: For many, many years, in a land far away there was a kingdom ruled by two kings.
• KING - Dear Queen and my wife. It'sbeen many years and our dream of having a son or daughter could not be enforced. And so I am very sad.
• KING Your sadness will last a very short time because I have a surprise for you. Soon born our son or our daughter who will be the future king or queen future of these lands.
(The king, with signs of joy)
• KING - What has pleased me this great news!I am the happiest king!
(The King embracedthe Queen)
• NARRATOR - And it was not long and the queen gave birth to a beautiful girl. The birth of joy filled the two kings.
(Music plays and closes the curtain)
ACT II
Characters: Narrator, King, Queen.
Scenario: Decorated inside the palace.
The curtain rises and are center stage in the King and Queen. There is a table with ink, paper and a bell next to a chair on one side of thestage. The Narrator, in a remote
(The King with a lower voice, turning to the queen)
• KING - The joy that you and I we should share it with our people. The birth of our daughter will be the reason to celebrate a great feast, the best party ever held in the history of this kingdom.
• QUEEN - You know I love the holidays. Sounds like a great idea. We begin with the preparations.
 Narrator: Thenthe king wrote many invitations to everyone in his kingdom so that they can meet in the palace and enjoy all of the party.
INVITATIONTO CELEBRATE THE BIRTHOUR DAUGHTER TO BE HELDA PARTY TO WHICH AREINVITED ALL PEOPLETHE UNITED SIGNED:YOUR KING |

(Music plays and closes the curtain)

ACT III
Characters: Narrator, King, invited
Scenario: Decorated inside the palace.
 NARRATOR. Everythingwas already prepared. The day came for the big party. They were all invited inside the palace. The king raised his glass and said:
(The King leaves the group of actors, and addresses them)
• KING - We have gathered here in the palace to celebrate the birth of our daughter. It is a source of joy for me as for the queen, and so I ask that you lift up your glasses and say three cheers for theprincess.
• ALL: IP IP HOORAY! IP IP HOORAY! IP IP HOORAY! Long live the king, long live the Princess!
• NARRATOR And all the guests danced a beautiful dance.
(She closes the curtain. Actors leave the stage and placed the dancers to start the first dance. When the dance ends, the Kings are back on stage, with the guards, and Secretary)
• NARRATOR-When the dance ended, the fairies came to deliveryof gifts for the princess.
(The fairy first, addressing the girl, who is in his mother's arms. Plays with his stick the head of the princess)

• FIRST FAIRY - I'll give the gift of beauty. You will be a beautiful princess.
(The Fairy second, addressing the girl. Plays with his stick the head of the princess)
• SECOND FAIRY - I'll give the gift of wisdom. You will be a very wise princess ..(The third fairy, addressing the girl. Plays with his stick the head of the princess)
• THIRD FAIRY-sweet princess I'll give you .................

NARRATOR  Suddenly a loud knocking is heard in every corner of the palace.

(They sound a loud blow and the door opens and a fairy, is the only one that had not been invited.)
(The fairy uninvited approaches the queen)
• NOT INVITED FAIRY - I'mthe oldest of all the fairies of this realm and do not understand how I was not invited to the feast of the birth of your daughter. (The Queen makes a gesture of surprise and concern)
• QUEEN - The King and I are very sorry. Majesty
(The fairy not invited in very angry tone. She approaches the Queen and her magic wand touches the head of the princess)
• NO FAIRY-evil hear all the princess...
