Othello is a literary play of drama, is a play that is based on betrayal, love and
jealousy, Othellowas deceived and manipulated by Iago who was jealous of Othello.
Iago begins to make a believer out Othello that his wife Desdamona was cheated
with hisfriend Cassio, this work shows how humans are vulnerable to
jealousy that Othello called "Green Eyed Monster". The author of the play William
Shakespearewas an entire play manages to imply that we are not all perfect and
that jealous is so strong that can collapse all the love. The play begins with aconversation between Rodrigo and Iago trying to topple Othello. The play described
in the beginning to Othello as a national hero for being military, andeventually
transform him as a villain.
The conversation that develops between Iago and Rodirgo, is where it is
implied that jealousy is a major problemthroughout the play, Iago who is a friend of
Othello is jealous of all that Othello has done for years, but the jealousy mainly
comes from the hatredthat Iago has for Othello. Iago with vengeance in his hand
goes in search of Brabantio who is Desdamona's father and tells all about the secret
love thatOthello has with Desdamona.
Iago is described as the person who seeks conflicts to manipulate, and thank
all the weaknesses that people have, Iagotakes advantage of Rodrigo which he
confesses about his love for Desdamona who is the bride of Othell and Iago makes
Rodrigo doeverything that he ask.
