La llorona (Inglés – Español)
This is a story that grandparents have told children for hundreds of years. It is a sad story, but lives strong in the memories of people, and there are many whoswear it's true.
The story goes that in a small village there lived a girl who was very nice, yet also very proud of her beauty, no young man of his people turned around to see, just waiting forsomeone to marry her handsome.
Once in the village appeared a handsome young man who was in a nearby town, she used his tricks to make him love, married him, had two children. Time passed and thehusband fell in love with another woman and was going to marry her, did not mind his current wife only went to see his children.
The wife saw that the only thing that mattered to her husband wereher children, in a moment of anger he wanted revenge and threw their children into the river, she repented and ran to save them but it was too late. The wife and children were drowned.
Thetownspeople have that sometimes in the river listening to women mourn and cry, "Where are my children?"
Esta es una historia que los abuelos han contado a los niños durante cientos de años. Es unahistoria triste, pero vive fuerte en los recuerdos de la gente, y hay muchos que juran que es verdad.
La historia dice que en un pequeño pueblo vivía una muchacha que era muy bonita, pero a la vez tambiénera muy orgullosa por su belleza, a ningún joven de su pueblo volteaba a ver, esperaba a alguien igual de guapo que ella para casarse.
Una vez apareció en el pueblo un joven guapo que era de unpueblo cercano, ella utilizó sus trucos para enamorarlo, se casó con él, tuvieron dos hijos. Paso el tiempo y el esposo se enamoró de otra mujer y se iba a casar con ella, no le importaba su actualesposa, solo iba a ver a sus hijos.
La esposa al ver que lo único que le importaba a su esposo eran sus hijos, en un momento de enojo quiso vengarse y arrojó a sus hijos al rio, ella se arrepintió y...
