1-¿QUÉ ES LITERATURA?
La literatura es el arte que utiliza como instrumento la palabra. Por extensión, se refieretambién al conjunto de producciones literarias de una nación, de una época o de un género (la literatura griega, la literatura del siglo XIX, etc) y al conjunto de obras que versan sobre un arte o una ciencia (literatura médica, literatura jurídica, etc). Es estudiada por la teoría literaria.
En el Diccionario de Autoridades (1734), Literatura es el conocimiento y ciencias de las letras.Etimológicamente deriva de la palabra latina LITTERA, que significa "letras". En el siglo dieciséis en España, Literatura designaba a los manuscritos legales, y a las artes y las letras. En el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española, (1992) el término se aplica al arte que emplea como instrumento la palabra, que comprende las obras con una intención estética. En el Diccionario de Uso del Español de MaríaMoliner se define como el «arte que emplea como medio de expresión la palabra hablada o escrita» y, como segunda acepción, conjunto de obras literarias.
