Opportunities for UCLan Students
As a UCLan student you have the fantastic opportunity to study part of your degree abroad. Studying abroad is a great way to see more of the world and experience new and exciting cultures.A period of study abroad is a positive element for your CV and, as a life experience, it is unique. UCLan offers a huge range of study abroad opportunities in many different countries. There are 4 different types of exchange on offer:1) The ERASMUS Programme - To study between 3 and 12 months at an institution in Europe with which UCLan has links - You may be entitled to receive an ERASMUS grantduring your exchange

2) The Worldwide Exchange Programme - To study in the USA, Australia or Mexico - For a semester or a full academic year

3) International Student Exchange Programme (ISEP) - ISEP is a worldwide network for international education, consisting of 275 member universities from over 30 countries - UCLan is a member of this network; therefore, as a UCLan student you have theopportunity to study abroad at other institutions which are also members of ISEP

4) The Maastricht Programme - The Maastricht Centre for Transatlantic Studies (MCTS) is made up of a consortium of 34 universities from around the world. As UCLan is a member of this consortium you have the opportunity to study at MCTS - MCTS is based in Teikyo University, the Netherlands - For a semester, fullacademic year, or one month
