El Gobierno Nacional a través del Departamento para la Prosperidad Social – DPS – implementó elexitoso programa “Jóvenes en Acción” el cual tiene como metas ayudar a la formación para el trabajo de los jóvenes, facilitar la generación de ingresos autónomos y mejorar las condiciones de vida delos jóvenes que se encuentran en condición de pobreza y vulnerabilidad.

Para este fin el DPS junto con el SENA han venido trabajando mancomunadamente para lograr estos objetivos. Para ello losjóvenes que se encuentren inscritos en “Jóvenes en Acción” tiene la posibilidad de acceder a la educación de alta calidad que imparte el Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje – SENA – a lo largo y ancho delterritorio colombiano.

Para el 2014 se han abierto 60.000 cupos para que puedan estudiar las carreras técnica y tecnológicas que ofrece el SENA en sus diversas sedes. De igual forma el DPS cuenta con...
