I. Chinese-English Dictionary.

There are a lot of pages for Chinese-English or Chinese- Spanish dictionaries in the internet. The most useful tool used by almost everybody is the famous “GoogleTranslator” (http://translate.google.hn/?hl=es&tab=wT#en|zh-TW|hello ). This tool has a lot of advantages. The main advantage is that everybody uses Google, so is easier for us just to make a clickin one of the Google options.

Another advantage is that, in the same page of Google Translator you can finds books, blogs or even images of the translated word, just selecting and copying the wordin any of the options mentioned previously. But this tools aren’t the most significant that Google Translator has. These are just a little part of it.

If you receive an e-mail in Chinese, you cantranslate it automatically. For this you have to activate the corresponding function in Gmail Labs. Obviously you must have a Gmail account. Also you can keep Chinese conversation in chat, if youhave Google Talks, using Google Translate Chat Box.

If you have wished to keep discussion with people around the world, in this case China or Taiwan, you can try the translation function enabled inGoogle Groups. This function allows you to publish messages in your native language and read translations of the answers.

Now, let see the disadvantages of all this. There are three big problems. First one, although we can listenthe right pronunciation for every word, the quality of sound isn’t as good as should be.
