1. INTRODUCCION

Hace unos años se dio el “boom” del Smartphone, se les hizo una publicidad tremenda y hasta se rebajaron los precios de los dichos celulares. Poco a poco, laspersonas fueron adquiriendo uno de estos, hasta que un día nos encontramos con el hecho de que todos poseen uno de estos teléfonos celulares. La mayoría de personas dice que es necesario, que es más fácil ingresar a la internet y también más fácil de transportar. Sin embargo, ¿realmente necesitamos un Smartphone o la industria cultural nos ha creado esta necesidad?

Con este tipo de preguntas fueque comenzó la teoría crítica de Horkheimer y la Escuela de Frankfurt, ya que si miramos atrás nos daremos cuenta de que ahora necesitamos cosas que antes no necesitábamos. ¿Pero como ha sucedido esto?
