Verdaderamente deseo que experimentes la emoción de recibir cartas.
Las cartas son como conversaciones, en las que se escribe todo lo que diríamos a una persona,si estuviera cerca

INTRODUCTORY NOTE

The Statistical Abstract of the United States summarizes the large mass of statistical information published byvarious governmental agencies and certain non-governmental organizations; it also includes some information not published elsewhere. Important data on the industrialsocial and economic organization of the Nation are brought together in one volume to serve as a convenient reference manual.
Not only does the abstract provide asummary of statistical information, but also does it serve as a guide to various sources of statistical data. To this end, every table in the Abstract is annotatedas to its source. In addition, a bibliography of sources of data, including references to sources not presented in the Abstract, is also included in this volume. Ifthe information on a particular subject presented in the Abstract is not sufficiently detailed, the user can refer to the publications of the agency responsiblefor the data. Frequently, the original source discusses the definitions and a concept used and presents information for smaller areas or with additional crossclassifications. Occasisionally, the agency has still more detailed information than can be made available from unpublished records.
The Bureau of the Census seeks toimprove both the form and the content of this volume continuously; and any suggestions, remarks, or criticisms, from those who use this book will be appreciated.
