DirectorioDear shareholders:
On behalf of the Board of Caja Rural “Señor de
Luren” (hereinafter referred to as Rural Savings
and Loan Institution, CRAC Señor de Luren), which
I have the honor to chair, I am pleased to submit
for final approval by the Annual General Meeting,
the Annual Report and the Financial Statements for
Fiscal Year 2013.

En nombre del Directorio de la Caja Rural “Señor de
Luren”, elcual tengo el honor de presidir, me dirijo
a la Junta General Obligatoria Anual de Accionistas
para someter a consideración la Memoria Anual y los
Estados Financieros del 2013.

In 2013, the international scenario left a positive
balance due to the events of the last months. The
results of the first months showed a slowdown
in the economy which was influenced by the
decisions of the Federal ReserveSystem (the
Fed), the recovery of the Eurozone and what the
Asian block, both China and Japan, proposed as
the plan to recover the growth levels. One of the
most important aspects was that the International
Monetary Fund (IMF) admitted that emerging
economies were growing less than what was
forecasted in July. The slowdown of emerging
economies was acknowledged.
In this context, 2013 was a year ofsome economic
stability for Peru, which ended with a 5% GDP
growth. An acceptable level of economic growth
compared to the rest of economies, which was,
nevertheless, below the target range established
by the Multiannual Macroeconomic Framework
2013-2015. Economic stability is the result of

development of the demand and the maintenance
