FUTURE GOALS AND MOTIVATIONS

All human beings should have certain goals to achieve in life in order to get to some place. Success is when you start reaching these goals as life goes through. Ihave always set me goals in life that I have been attaining with effort and endurance. Professional and personal goals have been part of this path. My professional goals are to find a job that makes mehappy and at the same time allows me to make enough money to support my family, and help people, my second short term goal is obtain my BSN, and my third goal is to become more diverse andknowledgeable, but in order to do that, I have always struggled to get a good education.

Receiving a good education is the main point to achieve these professional and personal goals. That is why since I setfoot in this country in 2007, the first thing I did was go to Florida National College and enrolled in the Licensed Practical Nurse program because I wanted to do something useful for the society andat the same time be able to support my family with a decent job. The Nursing field has provided me with this economic security and at the same time it has made me happy and useful by helping andtaking care of others in need.

To attain my second goal I have to attend to all my classes and set a commitment with myself to complete them. By doing this, I will be receiving a degree my motheralways dreamt of, since I went to two Universities in my country, I finished the fourth year in both of them, but I never graduated because I left my studies. I changed my mind since I got to this countryand since I have now two children to support. For that reason, I started the Registered Nurse program and I finished it. Although it was very hard to do, it was a hurdle I put to myself, and Iovercame it.

At the end of these short term goals I will be becoming more diverse, knowledgeable, and competitive in this hard and demanding market, and that will make me a better and more competent...
