Hello, my name is Seth Patton and I am a Senior Director at Microsoft.
During the next few minutes I will provide an overview of what’s new in Micrsoft Project 2010. I also encourage you to watchour other “First Look” videos which feature product demonstrations for Project Professional 2010 and Project Server 2010.
Project 2010 builds on the foundation of Project 2007 to deliver flexible workmanagement solutions for individuals, teams and the enterprise.
* Microsoft Project 2010 is arguably one the biggest release for Microsoft Project in over a decade. I think you will find our newproducts to be fresh, simple and intuitive.
* It provides teams of all sizes with the right collaboration tools, and a pathway to step up to more advanced Project and Portfolio Managementcapabilities as their needs evolve

The world of Project Management has changed alot since we first released Microsoft Project.
As customer needs have evolved, Microsoft Project hasevolved as well...From primarily a desktop scheduling tool to a complete set of Project and Portfolio Management offerings for individuals, teams and the enterprise.
Project 2007 was an importantrelease. For Project Professional 2007 we added important productivity enhancements such as Change Highlighting, Task Drivers, Visual Reports, and Multi-Level Undo to make life easier for ProjectManagers.
For Microsoft EPM, 2007 was the release Project Server became an enterprise class application in terms of performance and scalability. We also made signficant enhancements around reporting, andinteroperability.
Project 2010 really builds on the foundation of Project 2007 to deliver flexible work management solutions for individuals, teams and the enterprise.
