My Point of View about crime’s meaning & how to prevent it
Introduction
Crime is an integral part of the risks we face in everyday life. In both scholarly and public opinion crime is associatedwith harm and violence; harm to individuals, destruction of property, and the denial of respect to people and institutions. In this short text you can find my opinion about crime definition and somesuggestion that I did in order to prevent it.
Crime definition:
Oxford Dictionary defines “Crime” as an action or omission which constitutes an offence and is punishable by law; illegal activities; oran act prohibited by law upon pain of punishment”. People refer to crime, as an illegal offence that you make against another, or as an activity to break the law which may be or may be notpunishable. But, in my words is an action or activity considered to be evil, shameful, or wrong for other. For me, this word, in its most general sense, include everything that people say or make and it cancause suffering to another either legal or illegal.
Alternatives to prevent crime
Nowadays, crime is a serious issue that affects everyone in society. It affects the victims, perpetrators and theirfamilies. Crime is increasing drastically. There are some people who believe that it is genetic problem; and other think that it has to do with personality. However, I consider that criminalbehaviour is due to environment factors, where and how that person grew up, counting with family, friends, and school. Normally children who grow up without a responsible adult, without love and inantisocial surroundings have more possibilities to fail to solve problems of vital social interest, they lack desires for contributing to develop of the society and always meet significant problems duringtheir adult years.
