About the syllabus, I think it’s important for us as students to know the difference between writing formally and informally. Also, it’s necessary to beaware of what we’re supposed to learn in every module so that we can assess our own progress and whether the goal was achieved or not. As for the APA style, I’mnot really familiar with it but it seems to be interesting and if it can help us write papers with academic purposes then it’ll be necessary to learn it anduse it. Another good feature of this syllabus is that it’ll give us the chance to practice the writing skills through responses to our classmates, which meanswe’ll be interacting with others and giving and receiving feedback. I truly believe it’s important to use good grammar and punctuation when writing not onlyfor academic purposes but every time we write since the way we write reflects the education and cultural level we have and in these modern times this is a veryimportant aspect when looking for a job or even a place at school. This is why I think the syllabus will help us become more accurate when writing any kind oftext. The grading policy seems very fair because it is evenly distributed and it gives more credits to the most important activities which in this case arethe assignments. However, it also encourages team work by doing collaborative assignments which will create even more interaction with our classmates. Inconclusion: This syllabus will give us the practice necessary in order to enhance our writing abilities as to achieve success in Walden’s academic environment.
