The summary

George Keagen woke up is his flat and there was blood everywhere! He didn’tremember what has happened last night. Also Orla Quin’ body was found in the river. She was his girlfriend and both were lawyers. Murphy and Lynch of theDublin police worked in the case. They thought Keagen was the killer. Keagen wants to find out what happened and talked with his friend Osullivan.

Keane,a woman from a group of animal rights seems suspicious, beause she hates Keagen. In Orla’s flat there were flowers in the basketpaper. Sullivan sent them.He was in love with Orla, but Orla didn’t love him. He was the killer because he hated Orla and Keagen when he found out they were a couple.

Finally heshot himself with the gun when the police officers caught him and he died.

My favourite character

My favourite characters are inspector Sean Murphy andthe sergeant Tara Lynch because they are police officers who love their work although it is dangerous and they work long hours. Both have worked togetheron may cases and they are good at their job.

I like Tara. She’s tall with short fair hair and she’s intelligent ans very kind. She’s young, but Murphythinks she’ll be soon an inspector.

Would you recommend this?

I recommend this book because it is exciting. The story is interesting and you don’t guesswhat happened until the end. The language is easy enough to follow for the second level of English and you can learn new vocabulary. I really liked it.
