liveOliver Twist by Charles Dickens

In an attempt to change common English literature Dickens writes `Oliver twist´. A novel that reveals the old manners of theVictorians’ England through the life of a kid. In a further learning we know that Charles Dickens lived in that era and that he was placed to work in his childhood. In my opinion, Oliver is the personification of Charles Dickens and he writed this novel in order to show the cruelness of the city.

Oliver Twist basicallynarrates the live of an orphan who sees herself surrounded by the filth of the London streets. Charles Dickens describes deeply London streets. In some way Dickens couldbe describing the city in the way he remembered or how it maked her feel. ``It was the very place for a homeless boy, who must die in the streets unless someonehelped him´´. This suggests that London was no place to such innocent kid as Oliver. This description could reflect Dickens memories.

As well,Dickens bases great part of `Oliver Twist´ in crime as one of the main themes. His life could be also be very relevant to this theme as Charles Dickens saw herselfinto work due the imprisonment of his father, James. In the novel Oliver turns into a thief because all that surrounded him in London was crime. ``for it had longbeen known as the residence of none but low and desperate ruffians…´´.This is one of the many you can found through the story which shows that once again couldsuggest something about Charles Dickens live.

In general, after knowing something about Charles Dickens biography we could easily link `Oliver Twist´ in some themes.
