EL OSEO DE ANTEOJOS, BAJO EL LENTE:

El oso de anteojos habita en la zona andina del Ecuador, en climas frío y templado. Cuenta un mito andino que una criatura nació de la unión entreuna mujer y un oso de anteojos. La nueva especie heredó la sabiduría de su madre, la fuerza de su padre y fue bautizado como Ukuku.
The spectacled bear lives in the Andean region of Ecuador, incold and temperate climates. It has an Andean myth that a child born of the union between a woman and a spectacled bear. The new species inherited the wisdom of his mother, the strength of his fatherand was christened Ukuku.

La relación entre el oso y el ser humano es lo que quería transmitir el documental 'Ukuku cuando la niebla cae', cuya traducción del quechuasignifica oso. busca el buen vivir. El documental muestra las diferentes relaciones entre los seres humanos y su medio ambiente.
The relationship between the bear and the human being is what wanted toconvey this documentary 'Ukuku when fog falls', whose translation from Quechua means bear. seeks the good life. The documentary shows the different relationships between human beings and theirenvironment.

Por un lado están los que conviven con especies, en relación armónica; y por el otro quienes aprovechan su superioridad para beneficio, la relación conflictiva. Con testimoniosse revela que el oso de anteojos, la única especie de este animal que hay en Ecuador, está amenazado y la principal causa es la caza.
On one side are those who live with species in harmoniousrelationship; and on the other those who take advantage of their superiority to benefit the troubled relationship. The evidence reveals that the spectacled bear, is the only species in Ecuador, that isthreatened and the main cause is hunting.
