PERSONAJES : relator - asesino - anciano - vecino - 2 policías

VESTUARIO: traje para el asesino – peluca – pijama y gorro para el ancia-
no. Ropa de policía (gorras – pistolas – camisas) – relator –
sangre –muñeco de cartón con la imagen del anciano. Al
fombra.


ESCENOGRAFÍA: un cuarto (cama – sillas – definir dónde se esconde el
Cuerpo descuartizado – muñeco para descuartizar –
Sangre – bowl para colocarla).


DESARROLLO :

Relator : It is a true story , an old man and a young man. The young man had aterrible idea. It came into his head, once he had thought the idea, he could not forget it.

Asesino : (young man) Do you really think that I am mad? My hearing, more than anything, was always excellent. I could hear all things, things in the world and things in the heaven. I heard many things in hell, too. So how can I be mad?

Relator : The young man wasn´t angry. He loved the old man. Hedidn´t want his gold. The old man had never hurt him in any way.

Asesino : It is his eye!! YES!! The old man has a pale, blue eye, the eye of voulture!!

Relator : If the young man looked the eye his boold would become cold, and so, very slowly, he decided to kill the old man and escape from the eye for ever. The “eye of a VULTURE”!!!


ESCENA 1 : el asesino (es el hombre jóven) asiste alanciano “muy amablemente”. Lo lleva a la cama, lo acuesta, le ofrece un vaso de agua o un té, le acomoda la almohada, lo tapa con la colcha y le da las “buenas noches”

TEXTO :

Lets go to his room Sir . It is too late. You must rest because you are very tired ¿Don´t you?
Yes (con voz ronca y entrecortada responde el anciano), I am tired, I need sleep dear. You are always polite with me.Would you like a glass of water or a cup of tea Sir.
A glass of water, please.
Ok…Here you are Sir
Thank you boy.
Are you good?
Yes, very, very good.
That’s right. Godd night Sir!!!
Good night boy.

Relator : every night of that week, the young man opened the door very, very quietly.


ESCENA 2 : el asesino (el hombre jóven) asoma la linterna a través de lapuerta abierta, hay una pausa, apenas por unos pocos segundos prende la linterna y luego apoya la cabeza sobre la puerta entreabierta. Prende la linterna e ilumina “el ojo de buitre” del anciano (el ojo está cerrado porque el anciano duerme).

Relator : You see, he did not hate the old man. It was only the eye…The young man hated it, and on the eight night…

ESCENA 3 : el asesino entra como decostumbre al cuarto del anciano durante la noche. Prende apenas la linterna, durante unos pocos segundos. De repente se le resbala de las manos y la linterna cae al suelo. El anciano al escuchar el ruido se mueve inquieto en la cama, gira y se acomoda. El asesino permanece quieto, inmóvil, apoyado sobre la puerta del cuarto, tiene la linterna en la mano. El anciano pregunta :

Anciano : “Who isthere”?


Relator : the young man said nothing. For an hour, he just stood there, without moving. The old man was sat in his bed listening. Suddenly, he made a soft noise, the noise of terror, the terror of death in the deep of the night.

ESCENA 4 : el anciano sentado en la cama, exclama un fuerte grito de terror, el jóven asesino se rie burlándose y se tapa la boca con la mano, tiene unaexpresión siniestra en su rostro (todo lo hace en silencio, no se escucha su risa, sólo se ven sus gestos y sus muecas). El anciano tiembla y tiene cara de espanto. Está MUY ASUSTADO, sigue sentado en la cama.
