Should the Military Draft be Reinstated?

“We want you!… said uncle Sam” and if the Military draft is reinstated… that is exactly what uncle Sam will get, along with every other male citizen ofthe United States of America over the age of 18, regardless of what they want.
“Draft Registration in the USA was reinstated under President Carter in 1980, supposedly as part of the preparations forintervention by the USA in Afghanistan on the side of the Islamic fundamentalist warlords who were then fighting against the Soviet Union. The USA put me in prison for refusing to agree to fight onthe side of the people who would later become the Taliban and Al Qaeda! It's no wonder that people of my generation have no faith in the ability of the government of the USA to decide for us in whichwars, or on which (if any) side, we should fight“. (Hasbrouck 1)
During the World War I, there were 2,810,296 men drafted, and an incredible increase in World War II with 10,110,104 men drafted… mendrafted into wars against their own free will. Therefore, a military draft should not be reinstated. This draft of male citizens of the United States into wars is a violation to the right of life,it loses the sense of a free country, as well as goes against the purpose of the government.

The first reason a military draft should not be reinstated is because it is a violation to the rightof life. Everyone should have the chance to make their own decisions, in this case take a decision whether or not to go into the military, as well as to do what they want with their own lives, whenthey want, how they want; therefore, no one should force a man to do anything against his own free will.
Another reason military draft should not be implemented, is because it loses the sense of afree country. The United States is well known to all the nations because is a free Country.
