The death penalty in Europe was abolish onApril 28, 1983 with the protocol number 6 of the European convention of human rights that declares the abolition of death penalty with the exception of a war, on may 3,2002 was completely abolished the death penalty for all the counties of the European union with the protocol number 13 of the European convention of human rights.“Everyone has the right to life. No one may be sentenced to death or executed” (article 2 of the charter of fundamental rights of the European union)

The death penalty was abolished until 1796, in this year it was allowed for medical effects and for reducing crimes in the country, years later every state ofthe country has the right to decide if it wants to have death penalty or not, that’s why every state decide the method of execution they want to use:
Lethal injectionwith 35 states approving this and the U.S military and the U.S government.
Electrocution with 9 states
Gas chamber: with 4 states
Hanging: with 2 states
Fring squad:with 1 sate

Conclusion
I think that the death penalty is not a good form of punishment because there are more and better forms of justice. Is known that in countriesor states where is not approved the death penalty there are not to many crimes like in places where is approved, so people had to think if it is necessary to us.
