The story I am going to tell is one that more changed, but first I am going to describe myself so you can picture me. My name is Ignacio Jimenez I’m 21 years old 6ft tall, slim body skinned brown hair and blue eyes. Other character that plays a big part is my father Francisco Jose Jimenez Bravo. He is 59 years old 5,11ft tall,180lb he makes exercise all the days by running or swimming 1 hour, he doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol, and he eats healthy. The rest of my family is formed by my mother Beatriz Saborit that she is 52 years old and she is a ballet teacher, my older sister Beatriz Jimenez that she is 27 years old, and she goes regularly to the gym or to yoga and my little sister Sofia Jimenez she is 20 years old andshe makes horse riding. The story takes place in Mexico City Mexico, Mexico in May 11th 2008. Something you should know is that in my family we all take good care of our bodies that means that we make regular exercise and eat healthy food.
It was a Sunday morning when I woke up around ten in the morning and starts searching for my parents so we can have our Sunday family breakfast with my twosisters but I couldn’t found them. I ask Sofia if she knew where they were but she did not knew so I thought that they went to the forest to run but after some few hours my mother call us around one in the afternoon to tell that my father had been admitted into the hospital for a heart attack. By the time she call us it had been like ten hours. I don’t know if she did not know what was happening orshe didn’t know how to tell us what was going on. This was a shock for my family because a few months early my father went to Nepal to a 3 week walk into the foot of the Himalaya. By the moment we arrive to the hospital to see what happened but when we arrived they didn’t let us see my dad until the next day because he was on medications. The next days were very difficult because someone of thefamily should go to take care of my father business and as I had been working with him only during summer the last 3 years they decide to let me take care of it because they didn’t had a clue of how to manage it. That day I went to speak with the head master of my high school to tell her that had to drop the school for some days and explain the current situation. The head master told me that theywill sent me some of the work to my e mail so I didn’t get back to much. The day before my father should be discharged I went to my friend’s prom because I felt that I deserve to have a good time for all what had happened during the last week. At the next day when it was supposed to see finally my father at home my mother call me to go to the hospital because my father had another heart attack whenhe was having the last check before he was discharged of the hospital. When we talk to the doctor about what was going on he said that another of arteries was damaged and that they need to put him another stent but that at the end of the week he would be discharged. During that week my mother had some problems with my aunt because she wanted to be with my father all the time when it was visithours but as we are his family we have priority so it was a big fight that my father wasn’t aware of it because it will only cause him stress and that was really bad. When he finally got out we fell relived but he couldn’t go to work for at least a month so I went to school to let them that I won’t be returning for some time until my father was in a better state of health.
In the beginning it wasvery difficult to me to manage a whole business because first of all I didn’t had the experience or training to do that and because it is very different be the boos than to be the employee because the pressures is very different. The boss has to deal not only for just to cover his own debts but he is in charged to pay the employees so he first need to think on them than in himself because at the...
