INTRODUCCION
El objetivo central de este trabajo es señalar que la comprensión científica de la política económica rebasa el marco analítico de sus instrumentos y recomendaciones, por lo que se hace necesaria su consideración desde una perspectiva metodológica. Si la historia de México en los últimos 50 o 60 años fuera dividida en períodos, uno de ellos sin duda sería el delDesarrollo Estabilizador. Un tiempo que ha recibido varios nombres, como El Milagro Mexicano, Proteccionismo, Sustitución de Importaciones y quizá otros más que hacen referencia a los años que van de los 50 al inicio de los 70, terminando con el gobierno de Díaz Ordaz y habiendo empezado con Miguel Alemán al final de los 40...
