Note by theSecretary-General. At the request of the German Government, the Secretary-General has the honour to communicate to the Governments invited to the Disarmament Conference a letter, with an annex, from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Reich, dated September 26th, I93I, giving information on Germany's expenditure on armaments.
COMMUNICATION FROM THE MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THEREICH TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS. Berlin, September 26th, I93I. With reference to my letter of August 28th last (II.F.Abr.I596), I have the honour to transmit herewith the information on Germany's expenditure on armaments asked for, in pursuance of the Council's resolution of May 23rd last, in your letter (C.L.I24.I 9 3I.IX) of June I3th. The fact that the German Government hassupplied this information must not be regarded as committing it to any view concerning the method to be used in the Convention for the Reduction and Limitation of Armaments. I would request that this letter may be regarded as supplementing my communication of August 28th last, and that it may be dealt with in the same way.
