Preposiciones

Resumen:
The aim of this article is to present a concise analysis of the phenomena pertaining to structural specificities observed in the description of spatial prepositions in Spanish andPortuguese. Taking the above criteria into account, the analysis conducted provides for a comparison of semantic fields of spatial preposition in Spanish and its equivalents in Portuguese. The comparative partexpects to match the closest prepositional equivalents and to describe their mutual possibilities of selection and interpretation. The examination covers only simple (as regards syntax) spatialprepositions, mostly noun adverbials. These determinants are employed in many linguistic papers and they are as follows: commutation, combination and transformation.
