Listening
• Listen and number. The pupils listen to the sentences and write a number in the box under each picture. The first one is an example. They listen to the recording twice. (1 point for each correct answer; total 3 points)

Writing
• Write. Pupils complete sentences by referring to the pictures. (1 point each question – 1/2 points can be deductedfor spelling; total 5 points) Answers 1 pen (example), 2 notebook, 3 pencil, 4 scissors, 5 glue, 6 clock • Order the sentences. Circle the answer. Pupils order the questions and circle the appropriate answer according to what Hassan has got in his school bag. (2 points per question – 1 for ordering and 1 for the selection of the correct answer; total 6 points) Answers 1 Have you got a pen? Yes, Ihave. (example) 2 Have you got scissors? Yes, I have. 3 Have you got a notebook? Yes, I have. 4 Have you got glue? No, I haven’t. • Write the days in order. Pupils write the days of the week. (1 point for each question – 1/2 points can be deducted if pupils haven’t used a capital letter; total 6 points) Answers 1 Monday (example), 2 Tuesday, 3 Wednesday, 4 Thursday, 5 Friday, 6 Saturday, 7 Sunday •Read and complete. Pupils complete the gaps with the words from the box. (1 point each question; total 5 points) Answers 1 ’ve (example), 2 Monday, 3 board, 4 school bag, 5 Sunday, 6 pencils Total for listening, reading and writing: 40 points

Tell them to complete hersentence In my school bag I’ve got… (1 point for each object the pupil says correctly; total 3 points) • Pronunciation rhyme. Point to the activity for the unit (Pupil’s Book) Say it well! section on page 10 of PB and prompt the pupil to say the rhyme. Reading
• Read and match. The pupils read the descriptions of the school bags and match them to the pictures. (1 point for each correct answer; total 3 points) Answers a2, b1, c3 • Read and draw. Pupils read the description of the school bag and draw the contents. (1 point for each item – minus 1 point if they havedrawn pencils; total 5 points • Match. Pupils match the sentence halves. (1 point each question; total 3 points) Answers 1c (example), 2b, 3d, 4a
