“Respect employee´s private property”
This part talks about giving back to employees the “private property” of their incomes and savings. The current system forces employees to paytheir health insurance to IGGS as their social security whether they use it or not and also to pay to IRTRA for their leisure time. According to this priority employees should have the freedom tochoose which health insurance they want to use, what type of pension fund to have, where and when to go for vacations with their family, not the State. By not doing this, the State is violating theemployee’s private property and rights to have it.
John Locke explained what private property is on his theory of property on “Second Treatise of Civil Government”, that mankind is entitled to takewhatever he needs from nature to subsist according to the natural rights given by God himself on the Natural Law. God gave humanity the world and all in it for common use. The definition of property is toclaim ownership of something. He divides property as common property and private property. The private property merges for the convenience of it, as part of one’s own happiness that one is entitledto according to Locke. Men deserve to enjoy the fruits of their own labor to which we have right and nobody else but ourselves so this way men can claim exclusive use of something by using his labor.But Locke also established rules to keep the private property, make sure that there is no waste and there is something left for the common use of others if we violate those rules we would lose our ownproperty. Our labor is what establishes the difference between private property and common property.
All this claim of private property is founded in the Natural Law according to Locke, this is themoral basis for this claim, God gave the earth to men in common therefore we can claim the fruits of our labor and do as we wish with it, either for our own use or for exchange and build a business...
