1) RESPUESTA PRODUCTIVA,HEMATOLÓGICA Y MORFOMÉTRICA DE UN PROBIÓTICO COMERCIAL EN CERDOS JÓVENES

RESUMEN
Para evaluar el efecto de un probiótico en los indicadores productivos, hematológicos y morfométricos de cerdos jóvenes Yorkshire-Landrace x L35, seutilizaron 30 camadas distribuidas en dos tratamientos (control y probiótico). Los animales provenían de reproductorasgestantes que recibieron 1 kg/t del probiótico 30 d antes del parto. Las crías en experimentación recibieron el producto a razón de 5 kg/t, a partirde los 14 d hasta el destete (33 d). A los cerdos en crecimiento, con peso promedio de 8 a 9 kg, se les suministró a razón de 3 kg/tdurante todala etapa, según recomendaciones del fabricante. Se sacrificaron un total de 8 animales/tratamiento a los 96 d de edad, con peso promedio de 24a 26 kg. Los resultados obtenidos se procesaron mediante un análisis de varianza simple, según diseño de bloques al azar. Las diferenciassignificativas sólo se mostraron para el peso vivo (P < 0.001), 21 d de edad (4.72 y 5.78 kg) y al destete(7.90 a 8.65 kg), a favor de los animalesque recibieron el probiótico. De igual forma, la ganancia en peso a los 21 d mostró diferencias a favor del probiótico. Se logró reducir laincidencia de diarreas de 8.55 a 2.42 %, así como la mortalidad, que alcanzó en el control 18.42 %. Hubo incremento del peso relativo de las
porciones del intestino, principalmente, el grueso. Los indicadoreshematológicos (hemoglobina y hematocrito) no se afectaron con el aditivo,pero sí hubo incremento de los valores de proteínas totales y albúminas. Es recomendable utilizar el probiótico evaluado en la alimentaciónde crías y cerdos en crecimiento, pues se logra mejor comportamiento productivo, sanitario y morfométrico, que permite mejor desarrollo yaprovechamiento de los alimentos.

SUMMARY
To evaluatethe effect of a probiotic on the productive, hematological indicators and young pigs Yorkshire-Landrace x L35 morphometric, used 30 litters distributed in two treatments (control and probiotic). The animals came from pregnant ewes who received 1 kg/t of the probiotic 30 d before calving. The young in experimentation received the product at a rate of 5 kg/t, from the 14 d until weaning (33 d). Pigsin growth, with average weight of 8 to 9 kg, were given at a rate of 3 kg/t throughout the phase, according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Sacrificed a total of 8 animals/treatment 96 d of age, with average weight of 24 to 26 kg. The results were processed using a variance analysis simple, according to a randomized block design. The significant differences only showed to the live weight (P0. 001), 21 d of age (4.72 and 5.78 kg) and weaning (7.90 to 8.65 kg), in favour of animals receiving the probiotic. Similarly, the gain in weight at 21 d showed differences in favour of the probiotic. Managed to reduce the incidence of diarrhoea of 8.55 to 2.42%, as well as mortality, which reached control 18.42%.

There was increase in the relative weight of the portions of the intestine,especially the thickness. Hematologic (hemoglobin and hematocrit) indicators were not affected with the additive, but there was increase in the values of total proteins and albumins.
It is recommended to use the probiotic evaluated in young and growing pigs, feeding as productive, health behavior and morphometric, which allows better development and utilization of food is best achieved....
