Harry Potter
Magic, witches, wizards, goblins, castles and magic wands caught myattention. I stayed awake all nights reading each chapter, each amazing story, and every eccentric character of Harry Potter books. These astonishing booksmarked a before and after in my life. I like all of them but with the Philosopher’s Stone I started to believe in this fantastic world.
This book tells the storyof Harry Potter and his two new friends whose settle down in their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Poor Harry lost his parents, supposedly in a car crash, when he was a baby and that was when he received the strange lightning-shaped scar across his forehead. Ever since then he has slept in thecupboard under the stairs at the Dursleys' family. They are his uncles but they treat him so bad. But, there are people that know a lot about Harry than Harryhimself. That lightning-shaped scar is a matter of enormous interest and Harry will discover that he has a lot of friends, and enemies, in a rather different kindof world from the one he was brought up in.
This is a book about magic, but there's plenty of reality. Settling into a new school, making friends, learningwho to trust and who not to trust and when to obey school rules and when to overlook them. The author of this book is J.K. Rowling. She has conjured a fullyrealized world of magic, complete with old history and tradition, athletics and a battle between good and evil in which Harry and his new friends become involved.
