Abuela: Madre de Bato
Animales: Tres borreguitos —cuando menos—, un tigre, una mariposa,
un gallo, una gallina, pollitos, un león,un ratón, un elefante… etcétera.



(El escenario representa un paisaje campirano en donde hay una chocita de dos dimensiones, con dos ventanitas y pintada por ambos lados; de tal modo que por una de sus caras sea la choza y por la otra para el Nacimiento. En el fondo se ven un par de arbolitos y otros dos en primer término, también éstos de dos dimensiones. En el último plano habrá uncerrito también plano, detrás de éste sale la LUCERO que puede ser un títere, una actriz o actor, y trae un silbato.)

Nota: la música para todas las canciones pueden tomarla de rondas y juegos infantiles (así debe sonar.), pero sería más divertido inventarla.

LUCERO: (Entra, sopla un silbato y canta.)

Borreguitos: (Entre los árboles.)
¡Beeee! ¡Beeee! ¡Beeee!

LUCERO: the pretty boy will born
He is the peace

Gila: (Asomada a una ventana de la choza.)
¡what a mess with those sheep!
¡Bato! Stop eating
And check the farmyard.

Bato: (Asomándose por la misma ventana y con la boca llena.) What happen, Gila?Don`t shout!

Gila: (Mirando a todos lados.)
Go and check the sheep;
They are very naughty.

Bato: (Quitándose de la ventana.)
No, my tamalitos are waiting for me

Fileno: (Asomándose por la misma, bosteza.)
What happen, má?

Gila: do and check, son, look at the animals.

Fileno: (Retirándose.) No má, I am resting.

Gila: (Gritando hacia el interior.)
dear!¡Lucinda! Go, please.

Lucinda: (Peinándose por la otra ventana.)
Yes, tell me, What do you want?

Gila: (Saliendo de la choza.)
Let`s go.

Lucinda: (Retirándose.) I am fixing my hair!

Gila: (Ya afuera.)
¡what a terrible family!
A greedy husband,
My son is always tires
And so on, a daughter
She just fixes the hair!
(Gritando con toda su voz.)
Comeeverybody or I go for you

(Salen de la choza todos menos la abuela que se asoma por una ventanita.)

Abuela: ¡Ahh, daughter, how moody you are,
You get angry easily.

Gila: (Buscando temerosa.)
Check there is no wolf!

Abuela: (Mientras todos buscan, ella pregunta a los borreguitos.)
what is the problem?

Fileno: (Burlón.) ¡Ay, mommy,They don`t speak

Abuela: but they understand. (Los borreguitos señalan con sus pezuñas
al cerro.) look over the hill!

LUCERO: (Cantando.) shepherds!
Let`s go everybody, I have a lot
Time here

Todos: (Cantando.) wher are we going, beautiful star

LUCERO: (Cantando.) to bethlehem!

Todos: (Cantando.) to Bethlehem?Borreguitos: ¡Beeee! ¡Beeee! ¡Beeee!

LUCERO: (Cantando.) the holly child will born there

Borreguitos: ¡Beeee! ¡Beeee! ¡Beeee!

Todos: (Cantando.) let`s go, he will born there
.

LUCERO: (Cantando.) follow me, get closer, I will shine
Everybody this night.

Todos: (Cantando y siguiendo a la LUCERO salen de escena.)
Everybody, let`s go toBethlehem!

(Inmediatamente después que ellos salen entra a escena el diablillo, enfadado y arremedando los cánticos con sorna.)

Diablillo: ohh yea, very happy. ¡Bah!
¡Fuchi! What a terrible night! With to much light
(Lloriquea.)
No more bad behaviour. He will born
(Se suena la nariz y va cambiando su actitud.)
