Introduction:
Empowerment represents increasing the religious, governmental,educational, social and economic strength of people and communities. The word empowerment includes vast scenery of explanations, understanding, disciplines and interpretations which range frommindset and viewpoint to the really commercialized self-help market and inspirational sciences.
The sociological empowerment usually discusses the associates of groups that social discriminationprocedures have omitted from decision-making procedures through such as discrimination based on impairment, ethnicity, race, gender or religion. Empowerment as a technique is usually related with feminism.Similarities and Differences between Development and Empowerment:
Development contains activities that improve identification and awareness, develop abilities and potential, build individualcapital and accomplish employability, improve total well-being and give rise to the understanding of dreams and ambitions (Hill, 2011). The idea is not only limited to self-help but it also containsformal and informal activities in order to develop others in tasks for example instructor, guide, consultant, manager, tutor or life coach. When individual development occurs in the perspective ofcompanies, it represents the programs, methods, techniques, tools and evaluation systems that support individual growth at the individual level in companies. For instance, an individual evaluate theirstrengths and weaknesses.
