Pyramids
In ancient times withoutwheels, pulleys, cranes or machines the Egyptians built the pyramids. History has taught us that a lot of workers transported over two million blocks. The blocks weighed from 2.5 to 60 tonnes. They did not have compass and guided the four walls of the pyramid in the directions of the cardinal points with a precision that is difficult to imagine. They used and understood the north, south, east and west. Also, the Great Pyramid is oriented with great perfection to the most important stars to the Egyptians: Sirius, Zeta Orion or Alpha Dragon.
The shape of the pyramidshas followed a clear evolution. The starting point was the Mastaba, then the Step Pyramid, and finally the Pyramids of Giza. The step pyramid Saqqara was at the beginning a Mastaba, butduring the building the ground sank and they put over this another Mastaba.
The Great Pyramid was over 145 meters height, and a base of 230 meters by side. This also shows that the people ofEgypt knew a lot about mathematics. For example, they used the Pi number.
In 1949, Karel Drbal, discovered when to put an old razor that did not cut into a pyramid model, it seemed to cutagain, more 120 times than normal!
Perhaps they were religious places where the dead bodies of important people were put. No human bodies found in the main rooms, but it is possible thatthese were taken by robbers many hundreds of years ago.
Not everyone believes dead bodies that were put in the rooms inside the pyramids. Many people think the pyramids were made to watchthe stars.
Some writers think the answer is stranger than this. They said that it was impossible for Egyptian people built the pyramids so they were made by visitors from another planet.
