“¿Qué es la historia ahora?

El texto fue escrito por David Cannadine, y se realizó en base a una conferencia que tenía como objetivo el revaluar la publicación deCarr, el explicar algunas tendencias para que pudiese llegar a un público más extenso, un elemento para la ciudadanía.
Cada capítulo se presenta en forma de pregunta así como en el título del libro, cuestiones que se tratan de resolver a lo largo de cada segmento. El primer capítulo nos preguntará “¿Qué es la historia?”, cuestionamiento que se repetirá en el epilogo, pero ahora como “¿Qué es lahistoria ahora?”. Al tener las respuestas, encontramos el propósito más puro del texto: conocer cuál es la perspectiva sobre historia en nuestros tiempos.
