“Importance of religion and ideologies in causing conflict in the contemporary world“

Introduction:
In this essay I will be talking about the conflicts and issues that religion and ideologies can cause in all around the world.
But first we need to know each of the ideologies.

An ideology is a set of ideas that constitute one's goals, expectations, and actions. An ideology is acomprehensive vision, a way of looking at things (compare worldview) as in several philosophical tendencies or a set of ideas proposed by the dominant class of a society to all members of this society.

• Fascism
• Nationalism

• Anarchism

As you know since the beginning of the human existencethere has been conflicts between political ideologies and religious ideologies. These two never stop interacting.
When we talk about political ideologies, we are talking about secular ideologies. Every country has and follows its own ideology, but as in all the things there is always someone or a group of people that disagree with the other peoples mind, which thinks the correct way of doing thethings is different from the rest of the population.

We can refer to a religious ideology by saying that in this is what you have faith unlike political ideology. Religion has been a very important factor for all or most of the wars that have taken place in the contemporary world.
Religious fundamentalism is the conviction that ones's religion is totally TRUE and must dominate or destroy otherforms of belief. It is derived from the view that nothing can be learn from anyone else. These can easily lead to the violence and was a fundamentalist believes that force is legitimate if it is the will of god.
Religion has been the cause of a lot of wars like:
- Islamic expansion
- The Crusades
- The Thirty Year's War
- The French Revolution
- The Holocaust
- Lebanese Civil War
And manyothers…

A good example could be racism applied to terrible war called the Holocaust.
The Holocaust was the mass murder or genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, a programme of systematic state-sponsored murder by Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, throughout German-occupied territory. Of the nine million Jews who had resided in Europe beforethe Holocaust, approximately two-thirds were killed. Over one million Jewish children were killed in the Holocaust, as were approximately two million Jewish women and three million Jewish men.

All these started because the Nazis were a political ideology in which had a dictatorship, and their main goal was the purebred, as any other religion has its own book of rules like Christians have thebible, they had the Mein Kampf, a book written by Adolf Hitler in which sais all the stuff about purebred.
That’s why they were very exclusive and treat all other kind of people terrible, like gays, black people Jewish… They were very racist with them.

All these started because Germany was affected by the Great Depression and also because of the Treaty of Versailles, so thing were veryunstable.

Hitler came to power by telling the German people that their race, the Aryans, were the perfect people, and all the rest were vermin. Hitler promised to regain control of the territory lost in the Treaty of Versailles, but when he started going intowar he went all out. It started slowly and slowly, Germany needed someone to put the blame on, so they chose people not of pure German descent, and blamed them for the loss in WW1 and saying that they were wasting Germany's money and led them to depression.
