RESUMEN
Esta Tesis está desarrollada bajo la línea de investigación en Tecnología de la
Información y Comunicación, de la escuela profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas. El
objetivo general fue realizar una propuesta de reingeniería de la red de datos
pertenecientea la unidad de gestión educativa local (UGEL) PAITA para optimizar el
sistema de comunicaciones de la institución. La investigación tuvo un diseño de tipo
no experimental siendo el tipo de la investigación descriptivo y de corte transversal,
con una población muestral de 30 trabajadores Luego de haber revisado diferentes
normas necesarias para el diseño de infraestructura de red, sepuede concluir que no
siempre se cumplirán en su totalidad ya que las características de las instalaciones de
un edificio y las exigencias del cliente serán las que definan el diseño real. Lo que se
debe procurar es buscar solución que más se acerque a las recomendaciones de las
diferentes normas. El diseño propuesto cumplió las exigencias del cliente al respetar
la distribución de laszonas hechas y no exigir la demolición de las estructuras. Sin
embargo, esto no implicó que no se siguieran las normas ya que se dieron soluciones
que balanceen ambas necesidades.

ABSTRACT
This thesis is developed under the research in Information Technology and
Communication, School ofProfessional Systems Engineering. The overall goal was
to make a proposal for the restructuring of the data network belonging to the unit of
local educational management (UGELs) PAITA to optimize the communication
system of the institution. The research design was non-experimental type of being
descriptive and cross-sectional research, with a population of 30 workers masterful
After reviewingdifferent measures for the design of network infrastructure, we can
conclude that not always they shall comply with all the features and facilities of a
building and customer requirements will be defining the actual design. What we
should seek is seeking a solution that is closest to the recommendations of the
various standards. The proposed design meet customer requirements by respectingthe distribution of the zones made and not require the demolition of structures.
However, this did not mean that the rules are not followed as solutions that balance
both needs were given.
